Chance The Rapper Marries Longtime Girlfriend Kirsten Corley

Chance the Rapper is officially tied down. The 25-year-old artist and his belle, Kirsten Corley, got married on Saturday at a resort in California, reports the outlet, People Magazine.

The guest list there included big names like Kim Kardashian West and Kanye, as well as legendary comedian, Dave Chappelle. E! News was the first to report that Chance and his longtime sweetheart tied the knot. The Shade Room collected a few photos in which Chance commented.

Unfortunately, there were no official pictures of their wedding ceremony released yet, but a few videos and images were captured. Comments By Celebs highlighted a photo in which Chance said the photos were captured by “lames,” and everyone would have to wait to see the “official ones.”

Also, Johnathan Bennett, the rapper’s brother, shared a photo of himself and he captioned the image with, “The Wedding bells are ringing!” Just a few days before they officially got married, the Chicago Tribune reported that Chance and Kirsten have actually been married since the 27th of December, 2018.

Chance and Kirsten have known each other for a long time. In fact, the rapper first met her at a party where she performed a Destiny’s Child dance routine when Chance was 9-years-old. He instantly fell in love and it was all history from there.

Chance tweeted about the incident, stating that he knew right away he’d marry her. “Sixteen years later, it’s happening,” the rapper previously said on Twitter. Chance and Corley first began dating officially again back in 2013. They welcomed their first child two years later in 2015.

They broke up in 2016 but then got back together in the following year. Chance finally asked her to marry him on the 4th of July last year, during a family barbecue in Chicago.

When Chance won his Grammy in 2017, he dedicated the award to his girlfriend and their child. “For Kirsten, for Kensli, and for all of Chicago,” he said before the crowd.
