Autumn Reeser Files for Divorce, Asks Not to Pay Spousal Support

You might recognize Autumn Reeser from her roles in shows such as The O.C. and Hawaii 5-0 as well as shows such as Entourage. She might not be one of the most famous actresses in all of Hollywood, but she’s a good actress with a recognizable face and a successful career behind her. She’s also the kind of actress that always seems to put family first.

She married her husband, Jesse Warren Strutzel, in 2009 and the couple quietly and happily welcomed two children together throughout their five-year marriage. They have two sons, ages 3 and 11 months, and it seemed like they were just another happy couple keeping their private lives private, until last month. The couple decided to separate a month ago, and Reeser has filed for divorce.

The paperwork she just filed states that the couple is experiencing irreconcilable differences, and she’s seeking to share legal and physical custody of their two young sons with her soon-to-be ex-husband. She does not, however, want to pay Strutzel spousal support, claiming that she does not owe it to him at all. What he does for a living is not really clear, but it appears he has a web series he calls “The Bannen Way,” which is successful enough. However, Reeser is the one with the really successful career in Hollywood, and that usually ends up in the instructions to pay spousal support in divorces such as these.

What went wrong in the couple’s relationship is not really clear. They tend to keep their private life private, no really opening up much about their personal lives. However, irreconcilable differences can mean anything from cheating to too much fighting to people who just grew apart over the years. We don’t know. But, it is Hollywood, so we’ll probably get some sort of explanation as their divorce proceeds.
